Creative Drama with Marian Street Theatre for Young People.
The Three Billy Goats Gruff adapted by Helen Martin has lots of audience participation, so the audience can help Little Billy, Middle Billy and Big Billy confuse the ogre who guards the bridge and get across to where the grass is much greener! PLUS meet the performers from the Marian Street Theatre for Young People. Each show is about 30 minutes and suitable for ages 3-10.

Drama and dress up workshops daily
10am, 11.30am, 1pm, 30 minute workshops
Active drama skills and fun with characters, costumes and props.

1pm Workshop 8-10 year olds

Work with an experienced Marian Street Theatre tutor to learn some drama skills and create great characters. Bookings essential, must be made in person at Centre Management, $6 per child, limit - 16 children per session, workshops suitable for 5 – 10 years.

If you think that snakes are sensational, lizards are lovely and crocodiles cuddly, then you’ll definitely want to visit the St Ives Purr-fect Pets Pet Expo 2010 on October 9 - 10.

Providing both entertainment and information for our community, the Pet Expo has been a popular event in the St Ives Shopping Village for over 10 years, with something for pet lovers of all ages.
You can get face to face with a crocodile, snake, blue-tongue lizard or a turtle at the 'Crocodile Encounters' reptile shows. There will be several shows daily, and a selection of reptiles and creepy crawlies on display for the whole weekend. There will also be set
times with a photographer on hand to capture you with your favourite reptile.

If cute and cuddly is more your thing, then you’ll be delighted with the Baby Animal Farm, which will be on show each day. Magician Paul from Pauls Magic will be on hand to entertain and dazzle with two shows daily, and there will be free face painting for the kids.

You’re sure to be impressed with the talented Northern Suburbs Dog Training Club, with their Dog Dancing, Agility and Obedience Demonstrations; and the fabulous team from Get SMART Dogs will be there on Sunday with tricks, games, demonstrations and
training tips for your dog.

Plus, see the very latest in accessories for your pets, with great specials on selected coats, toys and beds and awesome deals on Aqua One Aquariums for the new fish enthusiast. There will also be special offers from our sponsor Hills Pet Nutrition – with
great deals and nutrition advisors on hand all weekend and visits from Sydney Wildlife Rescue and The Ku-ring-gai Vet Hospital.

Bookings are essential for most workshops. Book and pay in person at St Ives Shopping Village Centre Management office – cash, cheque or money order only – no credit card or eftpos facilities available.

Parental supervision – all children participating must have a parent or guardian nearby. We supervise all the activities but request that parents stay within the area to collect their child at end of the session.
