As part of our ongoing commitment to the
local community, we were once again proud to sponsor the annual Festival on the Green which was held on Sunday May 3rd. This was the 6th year we have been involved and we hope you all enjoyed this fantastic community event.

In March, we hosted the Girl's Night Out fashion showcase and fund raiser in aid of Sir Eric Woodward Memorial School based in St Ives and assisted them in
raising over $4,000 on the night. See the community section for some great pictures from the night.

The Ku-ring-gai Philharmonic Orchestra’s $10,000 Young Performers Scholarship was won by cellist Martin Smith. The Young Performers Scholarship was established in 2008 to commemorate 25 years of the NSW Secondary Schools Concerto Competition. It was created to support a talented musician, who is a previous winner of the Concerto Competition to progress their performance careers to an internationally acclaimed standard. The inaugural $10,000 scholarship was supported by Turramurra Community Bank Branch, Bendigo Bank, St Ives Shopping Village and KPO Friends. Many supporters of the
KPO are looking forward to hearing Martin perform later this year in Sydney.

We are also proud to sponsor local sporting clubs and groups including Ku-ring-gai Netball Association, St Ives Soccer Club and St Ives Rugby Club to name a few. Local clubs are a vital part of our active community and we look forward to being involved with many other clubs and local organisations in the coming months.
